PRIVATE PDA PARENT COACHING

Sometimes You’re Just Too Close To See What You’re Missing.

You understand PDA. But sometimes you still find yourself thinking:

“I know this is PDA. So what the heck is happening here?”
Bring me the situation you’re stuck on, and we’ll slow it down together.
YES — I WANT AMBER’S EYES ON THIS

45 minutes • Private 1:1 coaching

Maybe you’re stuck on something like…

Bedtime has suddenly become a battle and you can’t figure out what changed.

School was going okay—until suddenly it wasn’t.

Your child is refusing something they used to do without a problem.

You’ve lowered the demand… and somehow things still aren’t getting easier.

Something that works beautifully one day completely falls apart the next.

Or maybe there’s just one situation you keep turning over in your head, wondering:

What am I missing?

That’s exactly the kind of thing we can get curious about together.

“I feel like I’m starting to see my son differently and can start to understand him a little more.”

THE COACHING PROCESS

So what does coaching with me actually look like?

For 45 minutes, we focus on you and your situation.

01

We slow it down.

I’ll ask questions and we’ll zoom out so we can really understand what’s happening.

02

We look underneath.

We’ll look at what happened before, what happens after, what your child may already be carrying, and where demands or autonomy might be showing up, and the little details that can be really hard to see when you're living inside of it.

03

We separate facts from assumptions.

We’ll tease apart what we know from what we might be assuming, and look for patterns or possibilities you may not have considered.

04

We find possibilities.

Then we’ll talk about what you might want to experiment with next.

I’m not going to hand you a generic list of “PDA strategies.”

The whole point is to get curious about YOUR child.

You don’t need to prepare a presentation.

You don’t need to know exactly what you need from me.

Just bring me the knot. We’ll start there.

Choose What Feels Right For You.

You Don’t Need To Have It Figured Out Before We Talk.

In fact, that’s kind of the point.

Maybe you know exactly what you want to talk about.

Maybe all you know is:

“Something isn’t working and I can’t figure out why.”

Either is enough.

I’m not here to judge your parenting or tell you there’s one right way to parent your child.

I’m here to help you slow things down, ask better questions, and see possibilities that can be incredibly hard to see when you’re the one living it every day.

Because ultimately, I don’t want you to need me every time something goes sideways.

I want you to get better and better at seeing your child.

Important note

I’m a parent and educator bringing lived experience and an educational/coaching perspective to these conversations. I am not a therapist, psychologist, medical provider, or diagnostician.

Coaching is not therapy, medical care, or a substitute for professional mental-health or medical support. I can’t diagnose your child, determine with certainty what is causing a behavior, or promise a particular outcome.

What we can do is get curious together about what you’re seeing and explore possibilities for what you might try next.
