Board Certified Behavior Analyst Carrie Susa Woodward embarked on her autism journey in 2002 as an undergraduate, quickly realizing she’d found her calling. Over two decades, she progressed from a direct technician to BCBA Supervisor and, ultimately, Clinical Director, directly aiding autistic children and their families. In 2022, Carrie answered a new calling, establishing Autism Jumpstart to transform autism support. She identified a critical gap in the care continuum and created "Jumpstart the Journey," recognizing the delays parents face in assessments and treatments. The course equips parents with science-backed strategies during the waiting period, empowering them to positively impact their child's development. Carrie's work emphasizes that, with proper guidance, every family's autism journey holds potential for progress and hope.
