Lindsay is a licensed clinical social worker of over ten years and a parent coach and educator for caregivers of children with a PDA (Pathological Demand Avoidance) profile of autism. Lindsay struggled for years to figure out how to best parent her unique son, taking every course and reading every book she could find. He was often explosive and inflexible and never responded to traditional parenting approaches like rewards and consequences. It wasn’t until he was diagnosed with autism in 2021 and Lindsay stumbled across PDA that the pieces of the puzzle finally clicked together. She now devotes her time to helping other parents explore better ways to support their children and bring connection and joy back into their homes. She truly believes that there are no bad kids. Lindsay lives in Colorado with her PDA autistic husband and two sons.
